What is the purpose of this role in the delivery of our mission?
The Management Board Member & Finance Lead sits on the Management Board (juhatus) of Pay Perform AS, Orbital’s Estonian entity, as it seeks authorisation from the Estonian Financial Supervision Authority (EFSA) as a crypto-asset service provider under MiCA and as an e-money institution. Together with the other Management Board members, you will share collective responsibility under Estonian law for the direction, governance and control of the company, and you will be responsible for the finance function in Estonia.
Pay Perform AS draws on Orbital’s group functions, such as Finance Operations, Customer Operations, Products & Technology and Compliance, through intra-group service agreements. A central part of this role is making sure those outsourced services, and any other services provided by third parties, meet the standards the company needs. You will assess their performance against agreed service levels and KPIs, act where they fall short, and report on them to the Management Board and Supervisory Board.

Take part in decisions to enter into, amend or terminate outsourcing arrangements, actively manage outsourcing related risks, participate in risk assessments, due diligence, annual reviews and exit planning, and keep the outsourcing register up to date.
Make sure intra-group services are delivered to Pay Perform AS at the agreed levels regardless of demand from other group companies, and that the EFSA’s access and audit rights are maintained.
